Our Canberra franchises have been successfully teaching children how to play soccer for more than a decade and bring along a wealth of experience and a good sense for fun. Canberra itself is a fantastic place to learn and play soccer. While Canberra’s inland location means the city can’t readily offer the many water sports available in large coastal Australian cities, Canberra makes up for this geographic reality with a focus on other forms of sports and fitness – from its many cycling paths to a general enthusiasm about outdoor sports. With plenty of green parks featuring wide open flat spaces, what better place to learn how to play soccer!
Working closely with the Early Childhood Development curriculum, Soccajoeys teaches children from 2.5 years and up how to become confident, active young adults. Classes are tailored towards individual children’s needs and our coaches are trained to respond to a wide variety of scenarios, including different personalities and learning speeds, to make sure all our soccer kids get the most benefit out of their classes while having heaps of fun along the way.
