With the lifting of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions we can all start the return to our beloved pre-lockdown activities – most notably socialising and group exercise! The COVID-19 restrictions were lifted in NSW a little over one week ago, with Victoria following suit today and we at Soccajoeys are thrilled to welcome all of our soccer children back to term 4 soccer classes.
It’s hard to tell who’s more excited about schools recommencing face-to-face learning: the kids who get to see their friends again, or the parents who get a very welcome return to some child-free time in their days! Parents have faced extraordinary challenges during this long period of lockdown, and everyone deserves a well-earned pat on the back for dedicating so much time, care and energy to their children’s education, as well as their physical and mental wellbeing.
Soccajeoys is ready to kick off Australia’s favourite children’s soccer classes again and provide another much-loved opportunity for kids to get the all-important socialising they need for their happiness and development. Now is the chance to catch up on all those friendly playtimes, sporting events and school activities they’ve been missing out on. Be sure to get your child enrolled in one of our soccer classes today. and help them kick-start their return to normal life through active participation in a social sport!
We are dedicated to making sure the return to classes is COVID-safe. For that, we have implemented a strict COVID-safe Return to Play plan that complies with government safety regulations and recommendations. The plan includes the following recommendations:
We advise members that they should NOT ATTEND Soccajoeys classes if they:
- Have a confirmed case of COVID-19. You cannot attend Soccajoeys classes until you are medically cleared to return.
- Have had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. You cannot attend Soccajoeys classes for 14 days after your last contact with the confirmed case.
- Are unwell or have flu-like symptoms including: a cough, high temperature, runny nose or sore throat. If you or your child present with any of these symptoms, you will be asked to leave the class and we will offer you a make-up class for the missed session.
We also implemented COVID-safe basic hygiene and social distancing measures to keep everyone safe. To view and download the full plan, please visit https://soccajoeys.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Soccajoeys-COVID-19-Safe-Return-to-Play-Plan.pdf
