We live in a time of increased pressure and economic responsibilities that drive many parents back to work soon after starting a family. A range of suitable daycare activities offered by their local daycare centre will allow them to focus on their work priorities, while knowing their child is in the best possible care away from home. This makes the choice of daycare providers all the more important.

When choosing a daycare provider there are a few key things for parents to consider – that their child feels safe and secure, location,  convenience and cost. Parents will also want to consider another factor, whether their local daycare provider includes a sports and activity curriculum in their weekly planning. Because the working demands on parents limit their time to take their children to attend activities that will help them develop important healthy lifestyle habits, this is more important than ever. With a sports curriculum built into their everyday care, parents can be sure their children are getting their daily amount of physical activity while learning important social skills such as cooperation and teamwork.

Choosing a daycare provider with a sports curriculum will allow your child to become a healthy active kid. Learning physical activity from a young age sets the tone for how they will lead the rest of their lives.
