All of the staff at Soccajoeys are committed to children reaping all the possible benefits from participating in our kids soccer programs.
Aside from the obvious physical, cognitive and social benefits that kids gain from the programs, there are many other long-term benefits and outcomes that children will experience.
As coaches, our job isn’t finished when a child graduates from one of our programs. It is our duty to provide ongoing support to children and their families by providing pathways into local soccer clubs. We love to keep in contact with parents of graduates and hear about their progress in ‘big soccer’.
Having been a coach at Soccajoeys since 2011, I’ve seen all sorts of kids complete our soccer programs and evolve both as players and as individuals. Some take a little more time than others, but there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child who struggles early in the program gaining confidence and self-awareness through the acquisition of new skills, as well as having fun and forming positive relationships with their classmates.
Children are our future, and we are here to fundamentally enhance their early years.
